It was a great opportunity to reach out to the younger community members interested in supporting his campaign. These supporters are excited to bring a new energy to politics to ensure that they have a representative in Congress who understands the issues they face — from paying for their education to starting families.

Official Candidacy Kick Off
On Friday evening, more than 100 supporters gathered as Amit Singh officially kicked off his campaign with an address and a reception at the Fish Market Restaurant in historic Old Town Alexandria. Members of the media joined the gathering to learn about Amit's Vision of the Future and his campaign which is attracting more and more dedicated volunteers of diverse backgrounds everyday.

Over 60 people came out to hear our message. Though originally intended as a meet and greet, we were also able to raise more than $9,000 in a single day!
