The Amit Singh for Congress campaign has repeated their fundraising success and maintained their financial lead over their opponent according to statements filed with Federal Election Commission (FEC). As of May 21, the Singh campaign had raised $58,430.

As of June 2, the Singh campaign had collected nearly $62,000 in contributions. More than 400 individuals have contributed to the campaign, with an average donation of approximately $125 per person, excluding candidate contributions.

"This broad base of support shows that Amit Singh has the ability, the support and the infrastructure in place to best compete for the 8th District Congressional seat in November," said Campaign Manager, Steve Bierfeldt. "Voters are rallying around Amit Singh ahead of the June 10th primary."

Singh launched his campaign at the beginning of March 2008, and is running based on the principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility and personal freedoms. Singh is not taking contributions from special interest groups.
